About the Event

Join us this summer for a virtual PD dedicated to exploring best practices in writing instruction. Delivered via a mix of live Zoom and community discussion boards, educators will have a chance to meet and collaborate with others as we explore sample lesson plans, engage in paired readings, and workshop with others to consider how best to implement weekly writing into our own classes. Want to participate but can’t attend every live session? Don’t worry: we will make an on-demand option available after each Zoom meeting.

Dates

Live Zoom sessions are held each Wednesday on the following dates from 10:00-11:00 am EST.

• June 29th
• July 6th
• July 13th
• July 20th

Participants should expect to have some light work to complete on their own schedule during the weeks between Workshop sessions which will include paired readings and discussion board postings.

Earn a Certificate of Completion

Participants who engage meaningfully in the workshop will be eligible to receive a Certificate of Completion worth four hours.

Learning Continues After the Workshop

The learning doesn’t end with the workshop: participants can continue to collaborate with others indefinitely via our Hidden Gems community.
